Wicked Damnation

Warm blood trickles down my frigid hands. I gaze at the source of the pain emanating from my gut. The handle of a kitchen knife protrudes from my stomach.

I gaze into my wife’s eyes as I drop to my knees. “Damn you, you bitch.”

My heart stops and I collapse to the ground.

Darkness sweeps over me. It moves like a black panther, creeping forcefully from the corners of the room. Its demonic screams echo into the base of my soul, stirring up every fear I have ever known.

Dark shadows grab my ankles. Ragged-edged nails rip at my flesh. I scream but no one hears me. This can’t be happening. Why is this happening?

They’re pulling me down into the abyss. I can see my body above me. It’s so dark… so cold. Get off me. I want to go back.

The light above me grows dimmer and more obscure. I can’t see my body anymore. Let me go. Please.

The darkness flows into my eyes. It seeps into every crevice of my being, burning into my core. It’s too hot. I’m melting, my blood boiling. My skin is peeling off! A wave of heat crashes over me, leaving me tumbling into the fiery shadows below.

I should never have tried to kill my wife while she was cooking.

  7. Nice one, Joe. Stupid indeed, to try and kill his wife while she was cooking. He should have waited till she was sleeping.
