The Song Through My Head
Jeff closed his eyes and forced his mind to play through a set of Sabbath songs. He set the mallet down and concentrated on his favorites, the ones he knew by heart, but Ozzy’s raging voice and Tony Iommi’s electric fingers didn’t help a bit. The song just wouldn’t leave his head–though “songs” would be more accurate.
The lyrics from Michael Jackson’s “Beat It” and Weird Al’s “Eat It” freely comingled, creating a truly strange set of images. At least it wasn’t some annoyingly wholesome, slut pop-tart’s song Jeff heard on the office radio stuck in his head. At least this was funny. Then again, it could just be a subconscious reaction to the infant on the table in front of him and what he was about to do.

Very creepy! A great example of how some of the most horrific stuff is what’s left out of a story, so we can imagine it ourselves. Nice work!

Awesome, had a smile on my face right up to the point of needing to vomit.
