Titration of the Spirit
Stephanie was always the perfect wife. When we knew she was dying, she insisted I clone her. We didn’t want to lose each other.
Stephany was genetically modified for heightened intellect and a flawless complexion. Stephanie would have approved. She was beautiful and loving.
Steph-Anne had all the positive attributes of the other two, mentally astute and physically stronger but not so affectionate.
Steph-Ann was a divine creature. She accepted me as a companion but seemed sometimes distant, inattentive.
Steph was cold, aloof, intelligent, but little resembled my wife.
How far can you dilute a soul, before it disappears entirely?

Lovely flash Oonah. How far? That’s the question.

Good question that, Oonah! And one of the best takes on cloning I’ve read.

Oonah, you don’t need to clone a woman, just stay married to her for long enough and you achieve the same effect ;-)

Nice flash. Cheers,
