NEWS: Presenting the 2008 Contest Illustrations!

As an extra treat, Sarah has also allowed me to post her rough sketches. Here’s a glimpse at the early stages of her designs, as well as a couple of unused concepts for the “Out for Blood” illustration.

  3. Must be quite the thing to see something you have written drawn from the unique perspective of one person. I guess that is the intrinsic beauty of all literature, we all read a different story and create a different world. Without the reader it absolutely is just dried ink on a page. Lovely.

  4. Thank you so much, Sarah. The Technopolymorph is an impressive creature indeed and a little more organic than in my imaginings. I am very happy with your take on its emergence from the sea and I’ll be delighted to have this adorn my living room wall.
