People are Busy!
Great gibbering gargoyles, it’s already July! Summer is rolling in with a fury here in Baltimore, but I’m keeping busy despite the heat, and I’m not alone. Here are a few announcements to hold your interest, I hope.
Brian Barnett, co-editor of Toe Tags, has released his first solo collection! State of the Dark is available from Lulu now, and it’s loaded with the best of Brian’s output to date.
My dear friend Oonah V Joslin has a new project going on at Bewildering Stories. A Genie in a Jam is a series of flash-length humorous stories about an adventurous and well-meaning Djinn, which will add up to what Oonah calls a “flash novella.” Start with the first chapter, “Of Elders and Rhubarb.”
And finally, I’m going to Horrorfind Weekend… as a guest! That’s right. No longer a mere attendee, I’m actually part of the author programming schedule, where I plan to use my allotted time to read some of my best stories and plug the greatness of MicroHorror.
Horrorfind Weekend is in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, from September 3 to 5. I’m scheduled to sign autographs in one of the celebrity rooms from 5 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, and I’ll be reading at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday in the author reading room. I plan to spend the rest of the weekend enjoying everything the convention has to offer, and I really hope you’ll join me. If you’ll be there, let me know! I can’t wait to meat–sorry, meet–each and every one of you.
Excelsior!
Sounds like things are looking really bright (or…dark I suppose). Anyway, congrats on the Horrorfind Weekend and have fun Nathan.

Damn! It’s all I can do to get up each morning and wipe my own ass. Would love to witness the greatness at Gettysburg, but it would mean leaving the bunker: equalizing the atmospheres, decommissioning the auto-defense system, converting gold to dollars, etc.
